4-Channel Temperature Logger

This was my first ever enclosed electrical/mechanical design! A design like this is much more challenging than I realized - it’s a coupled packing problem and mechanical design process. To iterate towards an attractive, spatially efficient final design, I needed to create a robust parametric model which tolerated the repositioning of components.

The design uses thermally sensitive resistors to detect temperature changes on up to four channels. I created this for a undergraduate heat transfer class that I was helping with as a Teaching Assistant during my graduate research. It is less accurate but much less expensive than comparable thermocouple instruments. Full design files are available on my Thingiverse account.
